Lightbulb Auction House = Doom?

Sorry if this is a dead issue but the search engine is disabled.

Is there or has there been talk of a type of Auction House happening in GW?

I find it very difficult to find a seller of something that I want and even more so I am usually too concerned about getting totally ripped off. I think an Auction house would solve so many problems that we have with people screaming out in a certain city in a certain district at a certain time to sell an item. Also with a house we can check to see what things are typically going for.

Has there ever been a valid reason for no auction house in GW? Could it hurt the game? I dont see how honestly but I am not saying I know it won't.

Actually, Gaile Gray has mentioned that an auction house is in the works, but it's kind of a back-burner thing, as there's more important things to be worked on first. There *should* be one available before or around the release of Chapter 3.

I think they were put things for PvE like this on the backburner because GW is a PvP game (you can deny it all you want....but GW is designed to be played from a pvp side in the end).

Also she didn't say "a auction house is the the works" she actually threw down the thoguht of auction houses and said there would simply be "Trade Improvements".

Yeah I remember the vague statement of "trade improvements". Anymore unless something is perfect or has an insanely rare skin that is in high demand it is just better to salvage or sell to the merchant.
